Meet The Team
Pam Haigh. Celebrant and Bereavement Counsellor. “I have been part of the Oxley family team for over eight years now. I came from a career in people management. On a volunteer level I have worked within the Hospice movement for over forty years, in Family Support, I have supported many clients and patients during my time at the Hospice in Winsford and Colchester. I was also a Magistrate for ten years. My role within Oxley’s is multi faceted, from arranging the funeral, to conducting the service and offering support, following the service, if required by the family. There are many pieces of the jigsaw to put in place to give the family absolute confidence that they will have the service they wish for their loved ones. This is a people business and as a team member I am so privilged to be part of it. On a personal level, I love walking and have two dogs to focus on and a very loving family. thats me. Pam Haigh”.

Helen Johnson - "Having worked in schools for over 25 years, I was delighted to join the team at Oxley’s. I consider it a privilege to provide compassionate care for people when they need it most. Saying goodbye to a loved one is an incredibly personal event. As a celebrant, I see my role as more than simply hosting or officiating at a funeral service. I work closely with families to ensure that the funeral service provides a fitting and personalised commemoration and celebration of life for their loved ones in a way that feels just right.”
